Optimal design and operation of modern Solar Saltworks involves the design of the physical process and, at the same time, proper control of the biological process in order to determine the quality and quantity of the salt produced in the crystallizers. This requires in-depth knowledge of both processes, with particular emphasis on the biological one.
The technical characteristics of the final product are co-shaped by the proper selection of the salt harvesting and washing machinery that ensures the desired final product quality at the designed capacity.
